Who we are

I am CYB’s Marketing and Communications Manager, and it’s my job to communicate and promote all the good work that’s done at CYB. Whether that be via marketing plans, social media, emails, events or podcasts, I’m always seeking different ways to tell others about all the exciting things happening at CYB.

I came to CYB with six years’ experience working in B2B events, promoting and selling exhibitions, and working across conferences and awards. I worked in a range of industries, including television, intellectual property, heating, ventilation and cooling; recycling and waste management; fashion and jewellery. 

I was proud that during the pandemic I doubled the number of events I was managing and provided sales support when staff were furloughed, and that I launched an inaugural event without sales support that achieved 117% paid registrations, growing that same event's registrations by 121% when we switched to virtual during the pandemic. 

I joined CYB as I wanted to work for an organisation that puts people first, that cares about its employees but is also purpose driven and cares about the projects it chooses to take on. That's exactly what I found at CYB! I want to use my creative content and storytelling skills to promote the hardworking, talented people at CYB, and the great work CYB is doing to improve people's lives.
