Who we are

In my role on the engineering team at CYB, I am helping to build high-quality products and services that are reliable, efficient and user-friendly. By collaborating with other teams, such as design and research, I am working to expand on CYB’s great work, for example the Give A Little platform, where I am helping to expand the platform to be available on both iOS and Android. 

Programmer by day, graphic designer by night, I spend a lot of time designing outside of work, whether it’s a logo, UI design, product packaging or even branding guides. I have recently revamped the logo and label designs for a local brand of soft drinks, Cruice Juice. I love creating dynamic and fun designs - switching up styles for different clients keeps things fresh and interesting. I strive to bring these skills to work by coding something that not only works well, but looks great.

I joined CYB to help build a more accessible future for everyone. It feels great knowing that the work we do improves how others interact with technology and can make a real impact. I’m always looking to learn and improve as a developer and team member both informally by talking to others, as well as taking courses to further my skills, such as the AWS Developer Associate Certification, which I passed in early 2023. You’ll often find me chatting with colleagues to learn more about their perspectives on the projects they handle. I value all of the insights and ideas shared while collaborating with the cross-functioning teams at CYB.
