Who we are

As CYB’s User Research Lead, I have been working with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office on Emergency Travel Documents and IKEA as Research Operations Lead within IMC. Part of the strategic core team within IMC, I’ve helped senior leadership set up research operations to implement a set of standardised processes, methods, guides and tools that support user researchers and UX practices. 

Before CYB I performed the same role with an array of national and international companies across consumer goods, energy, health and wellness and financial services, including Royal London, British Telecom, BSkyB, Vodafone), RBS, Shell, BP and Tesco. I also worked in government at the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) and NHS Scotland. One of my career highlights was helping BT Technology simplify their IT organisation, setting up a Service Design Centre of Excellence and enabling a more insight-driven and collaborative way of working.  

As a researcher, I get excited about understanding business and user needs that lead to creating meaningful, valuable solutions for all. I enjoy working with a diverse, like-minded team who strive to make a significant difference to the world around them. So conducting user research at CYB has a special place in my heart, as the focus is always on finding the right solutions to the right problems for businesses, co-workers and the people who use the services we work on.
