Who we are

I am CYB’s Operations Manager, and it’s my role to be one of the first points of contact for our team - ensuring that they have everything they need to succeed in their roles and sharing my exceptional level of operational knowledge to get things done. 

I worked in Operations in the Charity Sector for 8 years, so it’s great to work for a company that also puts the people at the heart of everything that they do, with the aim of doing good!

In my time at Cancer Research UK, I worked in various teams including those managing the administration of gifts in wills, and the team responsible for external fundraising platforms. I was responsible for leading an operational team, designing and maintaining a robust catalogue of processes, as well as feeding into strategic objectives. I held many professional stakeholder relationships such as solicitors, financial advisories, consultancies - and even CYB’s own Give A Little!

A recent career highlight for me, was leading in the operational set up for CRUK (Cancer Research UK) fundraisers for comedian Rhod Gilbert’s “Grapefruit Tour”. I helped oversee the use of various fundraising mechanisms including contactless and text to donate. 

I love getting into the nuts and bolts of a process and finding out how things work, ensuring I have a strong understanding of how smaller processes feed into the bigger picture. At CYB my aim is to streamline the way in which we work to become as efficient as possible in an agile way for both our people and external clients - in turn, making everyone's experience with us as positive as possible.
